Many promising high school students graduate without a solid plan for obtaining a career.  The purpose of our academic and career mentoring program is to ensure that students who desire to continue their education beyond high school receive the guidance and resources they need to achieve that goal.  

 

Our mentors work one-on-one to help students:

 

• Discover vocation, purpose, aptitudes and gifts

• Choose appropriate courses for specific career paths

• Navigate the logistics of taking college entrance exams

• Research postsecondary institutions

• Apply to colleges, universities and trade schools

• Research financial aid options

• Successfully transition into chosen institutions
