Our Vision

Erasing the achievement gap empowering every student to reach their full potential.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help close the achievement gap for economically disadvantaged children by improving educational opportunities for students, supporting families, and encouraging excellence and innovation in the classroom.

Board service is an extraordinary volunteer opportunity for an individual who is passionate about Noggin Educational Foundation's mission and who has a track record of leadership. Selected Board Members will have achieved leadership stature in business, education, philanthropy, finance, marketing, or the nonprofit sector. The Board will support the work of Noggin Educational Foundation and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance. While day-to-day operations are led by Noggin's CEO, the Board-CEO relationship is a partnership, and the appropriate involvement of the Board as needed is both critical and expected.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience with leadership accomplishments in business, education, philanthropy, finance, marketing, or the nonprofit sector.

  • A commitment to and understanding of Noggin’s beneficiaries.

  • A commitment to the short and long-term growth of the organization.

  • A natural affinity for developing and cultivating relationships.

  • Personal qualities of integrity and credibility.

  • Passion for improving the lives of Noggin’s beneficiaries.

  • A commitment to serving as an ambassador for the organization and sharing its mission to your sphere of influence and beyond.

  • A commitment to ensuring the organization has the financial and human resources it needs to fulfill its mission.

  • A commitment to our core values and beliefs.

Board members are selected because their backgrounds and expertise address specific needs that promote the function and growth of the organization.
