  • Robotics Camp Cancellation Policy | Noggin Foundation

    Noggin Educational Foundation Robotics Summer Camp Cancellation/Refund Policy Cancellation/Refund Policy Camp fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Refunds of any portion of the camp fees (minus $125 processing fee) may only be made when written notice of cancellation and a request for refund is received by May 1 for the summer camp. No refunds will be offered after May 1. Cancellations Due to Medical or Emergency Circumstances In some cases, refunds may be granted after the cancellation and refund period for medical or emergencies circumstances only. A written notice of cancellation with explanation of medical or emergency circumstances must be provided for a refund request to be considered. Additional documentation such as doctor's note may be requested by Noggin Educational Foundation. Partial or full refunds for medical or emergency circumstances will be at the discretion of Noggin Educational Foundation after reviewing the request. Refunds in full will be offered for campers or household members who have COVID-19 symptoms, exposure, or a positive test within two weeks of the start of camp session. Program Level Cancellation If the summer program is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be issued. Changes in Cancellation and Refund Procedures Noggin Educational Foundation may make changes to cancellation and refund procedures when considering the health and safety of campers and staff. No refunds will be given for campers arriving late, leaving early, dismissal from camp, or inability to attend all or part of a session. All requests for refunds MUST be in writing and emailed to admin@nogginfoundation.org

He currently serves as Director of Recruiting for Allied Universal, the world’s leading security and facility services provider, where he leads large-scale recruitment efforts across regional markets. Dr. Guzman is also the Founder and CEO of A6 Business Solutions LLC, a consulting firm focused on operational excellence, workforce development, and strategic growth for small to mid-sized organizations. With a strong background in leadership and education, Dr. Guzman has a passion for helping organizations and individuals grow through data-driven systems and human-centered design. He holds advanced degrees in business and technology, and his work centers on transforming operations through intentional strategy and continuous improvement. As a member of the Noggin Educational Foundation Advisory Council, Dr. Guzman supports the organization’s mission to close the achievement gap for economically disadvantaged students. He is committed to advancing education through research, community engagement, and sustainable program growth. The Coordinator: Works with a team of high school students in a mentor capacity assisting them in the completion of assignments and projects. We are seeking small business sponsors for S.P.A.R.K., our summer program for economically disadvantaged children. Why Help?: Summer Learning Loss Studies show that low-income students lose more than two months in reading achievement over the summer while middle-income students maintain or gain due to access to summer programs and other enrichment opportunities. 1 Losses accumulate over years eventually resulting in students that perform below their grade level. By 5th grade, many low-income students are the equivalent of two to three grades behind . Much of this achievement gap can be attributed to summer learning loss. 2 1. The schools attended by the children we will serve are Title I schools with at least 80% of their children considered economically disadvantaged.
